Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP)

A wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), is a structure designed to remove biological and chemical waste from water so that it can be used for other activities. The functions of WWTP include: Agricultural wastewater treatment, to remove animal waste, pesticide residues, and so on from the agricultural environment. Urban wastewater treatment, to dispose of human waste and other household waste. Industrial wastewater treatment, to treat wastewater from industrial and commercial manufacturing activities, including mining activities.

Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is a process of creating clean water to meet water needs in various industries, both the textile industry, the food, and beverage industry, the pulp & paper industry, the health industry such as hospitals and so on to the commercial building sector such as office buildings, malls, and housing. Sources of clean water or raw water to be treated are taken from various sources including rivers, lakes and deep wells. Sometimes some use shallow well water and seawater.
